Florence above the roofs
The Duomo up close, with Florence spreading out to the hills behind it.

Why I kept it.
From this height there was no way to fit Florence into a tidy postcard view. The dome dominates the frame, which is roughly how it felt standing beside it.
Past that, the city becomes a dense surface of terracotta roofs, streets and stone. I kept the frame because it shows the scale of the building and the continuity of everything around it.
