I like systems that work, information presented clearly, and knowing exactly what the weather is doing—even when the answer is just rain.
What’s here
Shtory.ie brings together the things I run and keep an eye on: hosted services for friends, Minecraft and BlueMap, Plex, racing calendars, Galway weather, server performance, and the occasional note when I have something worth writing down.
The site runs from my own server in Galway. It is built to be quick, useful and slightly obsessive about detail. There are no adverts or engagement tricks. If a graph is here, it should tell you something; if a feature exists, it should earn its place.
It will keep changing as I find better ways to present the information—or discover another statistic I absolutely need to see.
How it works
The public site is generated as static files. Small jobs on the server refresh weather, racing schedules, service status and system data, while posts remain ordinary Markdown files that can be edited in Notepad++ or Shtory Desk.
