Rails under the cranes
Railway lines running into a working port as the sun drops behind the cranes.
Field note
Why I kept it.
This was the working port at Cádiz. Ports and railways photograph well because most of the visible lines have a job to do: rails, power equipment, cranes and the bridge all lead toward the same horizon.
The sunset adds colour, but the reason I kept the frame is the engineering. It shows several transport systems sharing one tight piece of ground without needing the picture to explain every component.
