Field note

Why I kept it.

This was in the wooded hills near Seunghaksan Mountain in Saha-gu, Busan.

The camera held the depth better than I expected: dark trunks in front, green undergrowth behind them, then the pale bridge sitting in the middle distance. The light is strong, but it is the layering that makes the photograph work for me.
