Roadworks, trees and a wide Galway sunset in the same ordinary evening.

Why I kept it.
This was on the road off the Tuam Road toward Medtronic, Parkmore and the Athenry Road. I did not crop out the cones or the half-finished road. They were part of the scene and more representative of the moment than a clean foreground would have been.
Above them, the colour runs from warm light at the horizon to cold blue overhead, with the bay just visible in the distance. It is a normal road under an unusually good sky.
